HANDBUILT FURNITURE + FABRICATION was founded by architect and interior designer Allison Whitt, whose multidisciplinary background and strategic vision shape the studio’s approach. We specialize in the design and fabrication of custom FF&E and architectural elements for hotels, restaurants, commercial, multi-family, and luxury residential projects. In addition to fabrication, we provide full-service FF&E procurement for select projects, ensuring cohesion from sourcing to installation and delivering turn-key results.
Clients come to us at a variety of stages—some with fully developed specifications, others seeking support from the earliest concept phase. As licensed architects and interior designers as well as experienced fabricators, we offer a unique perspective that bridges creative vision with real-world execution. Whether we’re refining a design or developing one from scratch, we consider all project factors—functionality, durability, aesthetics, budget, timeline, buildability, and construction coordination.
In addition, our team provides Value Engineering support, offering material and installation recommendations that align with design intent while helping clients meet budget and performance goals. Depending on project requirements, we fabricate in the U.S. or overseas, allowing for flexibility in production capabilities, cost, and lead time.
