The Oceanside Welcome Center’s fun and beachy vibe represents all that O’side has to offer — a family friendly scene with great food, arts & culture and activities for thrill seekers. The design concepts are achieved through shiplap siding, warm wood tones, a curated collection of photographs, a large surfer girl wall graphic, a display of historic skateboards, and an iconic red VW beetle, complete with surfboard sticking out of the back. The Oceanside Welcome Center is not only a great spot to check out all the local activities but also a spot for tourists to kick back in a rocking chair, learn about local celebrity Tony Hawk and pick up some unique locally made souvenirs.
